He was one of my favorites. Starring in many enjoyable movies and TV series; you might remember him as Carl Kolchak in The Night Stalker. Our SciFi channel still has the series on on Thursday. |

| He also was in an old movie(I thought Disney)where he played a ranch assistant to a widow who raised turkeys and I remember the "Turkey Drive" that was hilarious. Can't find the movie no matter how hard I search. He could be deadly serious in a film but always had that twinkle in his eye. |

| I used to watch him in 'The Outsider', dubbed into German, in the early 70s or so... anybody else remember that tv series? It probably wasn't very good, but I remember it fondly, although not clearly! |
