| Sure, welcome Dave to the Awcomon Inn! Just a few general rules: 1. A total of 5 clues. Preferably single words, but more than one word is accepted. Ex.: deranged movie buffs! 2. | Actually, Stargate is BOTH a movie and TWO series. The original Stargate movie had Kurt Russell and James Spader. The spin-off TV series was called Stargate SG-1 and had Richard Dean Anderson. The spin-off had its own spin-off in Stargate Atlantis with Joe Flanigan and Tori Higginson. The SG-1 series took the basic premise of the movie (a "gate" that could be used to travel to other planets and galaxies) and expanded on it. The Atlantis series expanded on THAT by having a team go to the planet where Atlantis was located and, based on that planet, they explored that region of space. Basically, it's almost like a rehash of the original Star Trek series (a bunch of people exploring planets and encountering other people) except that they use a "star gate" and most of the people they encounter are humans. If I'm not mistaken, there's also books and whatnot published that's based on the whole Stargate universe. (We used to do the trademarks associated with the movie and the shows and that's why I'm familiar with it) |
