BIG STRING INTRO....

harpsichord on one chord...

Ev'ry night I'm there
I'm always there, she knows I'm there
And heaven knows BLAM! I hope she goes BLAM BLAM!
(lovely melodic bass, soothing female backing vocals)
I find it hard to realize that love was in her eyes
It's dying now BLAM! she knows I'm crying now BLAM BLAM!
And ev'ry night I'm there I break my heart to please
Eloise ('Eloise!') Eloise!

HUGE ORCHESTRAL BACKING SWELLS

You know I'm on my knees - yeah!
I said please
You're all I want so hear my prayer - MY PRAYER!!

My Eloise is like the stars that please the night
The sun that makes the day BLAM! that lights the way BLAM BLAM!
And when that star goes by
I'll hold it in my hands and cry
Her love is mine BLAM! my sun will shine BLAM BLAM!
And ev'ry night I'm there I break my heart to please
Eloise! DEE DEE DEEEE DEEE DEEE DEE DEE! Eloise!

You're all I want you got to hear my prayer

BACKING SLOWS, SOFTENS TO MANTOVANI STRINGS...VOCAL BECOMES MORE SUBDUED

My Eloise-uh, I'd love to please her
I'd love to care but she's not there
And when I find you, I'd be so kind
You'd want to stay, I know you'd stay

STRINGS SIGH, BACKING SWELLS

DAH! DAH DAH! DAH DAH! tip tip tip tip tip tip tip

HUGE F**K-OFF ENDING....

And as the days grow old, the nights crow cold
I wanna hold
her near to me BLAM! I know she's dear to me BLAM BLAM!
And only time can tell and take away this lonely hell
I'm on my knees
to Eloise
And ev'ry night I'm there I break my heart to please
Eloise, Eloise
You know I'm on my knees - yeah
I said please
You're all I want so hear my prayer
You know I'm on my knees
I said please
You're all I want so hear my prayer.

So, this song seems to be by yet another British artist from the '60s that passed me by -- Barry Ryan. But, hey, we barely even heard Cliff Richards over here in the states.

I don't get it. The ocean's not all that wide between.

At any rate, I would imagine you'd be a very good conductor!

Here is a link that might be useful: Barry Ryan (Wikipedia listing)

I've found the best musical conductors are found in hard core metal.
