Anyone watch Endeavor on PBS this week? Of course those in the U.K. saw it some time ago. I enjoyed it very much. PBS is the only channel I get on my TV with my little antenna and I rarely watch anything, but I found that really entertaining. I loved Morse and I love Lewis and to be honest would watch anything connected with those programs. I wish we had more shows like this. Apparently the show was well received and there will be a few more, which I hope will make it here sometime. I wonder if Colin Dexter made an appearance, as he often did on the other shows? I didn't spot him.

I enjoyed Morse too, I liked the couple of times the young Morse looked into the driver's mirror and they showed John Thaw's eyes. I am still saddened by Thaw's death although it has been quite a few years. I too enjoy Lewis & the tall blonde side-kick, sorry can't recall his name, but they play well off each other IMO. Pat

I thought 'Endeavour' was terrific and even bothered to email WGBH to tell them so. I was so disappointed to see that it wasn't the beginning of a new series but IMDB says they are making more. And yes, Colin Dexter was in 'Endeavour'. Check the IMDB site and on the forum someone says where--alas, I forgot. Others point out all the various bits of homage to the original 'Inspector Morse'. I was totally blown away by the sight of Morse's eyes in the rear-view mirror at the end--a complete surprise. I have watched the series more times than I want to admit and a dream is to stay at the Randolph Hotel.
