This book is just so so moving, can't say much as it would be a spoiler.
An American email friend that I have asked me to read it and the two of us had an on-line discussion. It is set mainly in New Hampshire where she lived. The book gives lots of food for thought and discussion.Truth in this novel is much stranger than fiction could ever be.
If any one is interested just do an Amazon, I am sure you will be impressed.

Am I able to tempt anyone to read this very unusual book??

I would so love to hear any opinions if so.

june, I had a look at it at Amazon uk, and from the synopsis it is seems VERY miserable; no-one had written a comment on it.

veer, Thanks for the feedback, Amazon in Aussie gave the book 69 reviews with 38 five star, 17 four. I would say that the book has proved quite popular in the states.
Meredith also has a website where there is an audio, she discusses the book.

It is quite a harrowing read I must admit, it also give one lots to think about.

I always look up Amazon when I have acquired a new book.

All the reviews I read were extremely favorable. One even compared the plot to one of Shakespeare's plays. Many of the reviewers were authors I admire, such as Ursula Hegi and Francine Prose. Thanks for telling us about the novel. I will definitely look for it.
