Book about surviving paralyzing accident

Hi Forum,

My name is Wade Stinson in Jack, Alabama and I am a quadriplegic from a diving accident when I was seventeen years old. I have just published an autobiography recounting my life growing up in The South, the tragedy of my accident, and the tumultuous years I have experienced since.

I know that you see hundreds of requests from authors and publishers each month, but I have written a book that includes a wide range of issues that fascinate readers: The eccentric culture of the rural South, personal tragedy, sex, violence, race, and even the exploding quest of American men for East-European brides. Topics that are relevant, because the specter of paralysis is real and threatening if Superman becomes a victim. I answer the questions often "fudged upon" by evasive writers: Why does paralysis haunt us? What is the emotional turmoil encountered after a spinal cord injury? How does someone function with three-fourths of his body as an unfeeling, unmoving weight? And is sex in a paralytic condition possible? If so, how? Does the life of a quadriplegic have value or purpose?

I also answer the questions of internet romance and marriage between an American man and a Russian woman: What are the motives, processes, and perils of Western men seeking East-European brides through internet introduction agencies? What are the cultural conflicts involved? Do these relationships succeed? Are there scams for gullible and desperate men to discover before, or after it is too late? And are there unfortunate stories of deceit and violence?

I am confident my autobiography is a worthy attempt. The title of my book is Between Grief and Nothing, and it is available on all major online retailers.

Thank you,
Wade
